The good news is there are still very experienced travel professionals out there. They are paid commissions by the resorts, hotels, car rental agencies, etc. so their service doesn't cost you anything. We enjoyed six days of fishing Hannibal Bank, surfing, island exploring, snorkeling and diving. We were exhasted after all of that fun and the last days were spent in Boquette, a rain forest village.

Boquette is absolutely gorgeous with incredible views - literally a botanical paradise. Each afternoon there was a tremendous downpour. The sky would open up and it seemed it would never end. This brought an immediate calmness to everyone. Some would nap or read or simply think and enjoy the view. I decided then that if I am ever to write a book it will be in Boquette. The calm and beauty along with the kind people make it the perfect place to spend time in your own head, to let those thoughts, ideas and dreams out onto a piece of paper (who am I kidding, my computer). What kind of book? It doesn't matter - this is the place to spend time with yourself.

<div style="height: 20px; overflow:
